DIY web site template sites
If you still don't have a web site, don't be ashamed.
Just realize that there are really simple ways to create a phase 1 site so that you can have the online presence that legitimizes your business.
A few clients in our "Feet to the Fire" Group are looking for templates to use.

5/16 UPDATE FROM COLLEEN:
Sandra Koenig emailed us to say some photogs she knows use LiveBooks. I checked it out and there are some pretty spiffy portfolio options. And Vanessa Stump gives the thumbs up to RapidWeaver, a Mac-only program with good templates.
I went the Microsoft Office Live route. It's free, for now. You do need to be on PC, I think, but I've gotten great feedback on my site and did it all myself with my pt assistant. I can continue to update and improve. The analytics are good, lots of themes, color schemes, good explanations. (Suggestions/comments welcome.)

Templatemonster.com has some great stuff. The cost is minimal and if you just need to get something up quickly, it works fine.

I've heard great things about Squarespace: http://www.squarespace.com
It looks like the perfect solution is you're starting from scratch -- though I've yet to figure out how to use it if you're revamping an existing website (if anyone knows, please let us know!)
