A business card that stands out

If you network (which I hope you do), and if you’re coming to the Creative Freelancer Conference (which I hope you are), then you need a business card.

While I think a business card is very effective, even when it only includes the basics, sometimes something more unique, edgy, or different can stand out and make you memorable to your prospects and connections.

Do you have a business card?

If not, and you’d like some creative ideas, check out this blog post on Freelance Switch, 37 Unusual Examples of Business Card Design.

P.S. These business cards are highlighted in the Creattica gallery. Creattica is a gallery of great design and inspirational imagery. Anyone can submit their work for consideration and voting on items is open to one and all. The best work is accepted and featured in the gallery which receives thousands of visitors every day.

Its the title of the business. Business card symbolizes the prospect the business and enrich the institutions. As well as it indicates the services and the identity of the business. So very important post and thanks for the post.

hey sorry for moving away from the topic of discussion, but this is a desperate situation and all the help we can get will be appreciated,my friend two month son is supposed to undergo an open heart surgery and she cannot come up with the funds as she is not well off,she is now running a campaign asking for your help no matter how small, please check it out, donate any amount and refer friends to donate so we can save this babys life, thank you in advance http://igg.me/p/39825?a=188871&i=shlk

A business card can also be coated with a UV glossy coat (offset-uv printing). The coat is applied just like another ink using an additional unit on a sheetfed press. That being said, UV coats can also be applied as a spot coating - meaning areas can be coated, and other areas can be left uncoated. This creates additional design potential.

I think business card effects a lot, to your customers, bosses every body. And if it is unique and appealing, it can make a difference.
